Hey Aaron, I've been a big fan of yours since you were the wicked/wonderful Eye! I know there's a bit of a division out there between the people who preferred your old site and people who don't want to lose this one, and I just like both of them, I can't decide which one I'd prefer because they both have such great things about them, and are so different to me. I know you're now planning how to get ready for the new BB series and what you'll do in terms of your blogging, etc (I reckon just a section on this site could be good, but I guess you wouldn't pull as many people?). But I saw you mention somewhere that you were considering videoblogging but you haven't mentioned it again in a while. I'd love to see what you could do with this format! Are there still any plans to do this? I would be disappointed if you just went into this and didn't write anymore, but I'd love to see it as something extra to your site. I know you're busy and sometimes feel a bit pushed by your audience (but you should really take that as a compliment!) but in case you're wondering if people would want videoblogging, I just want to say that I for one would. In fact, I wouold like to have gone there, already, but it's just a time/equipment thing. I really don't want to do the general videoblog format where I'm just sitting there, harping at a webcam, I'd prefer to approach it more like mini docos. But I really would be lying if I gave you a projected time when we might see this, it's having difficulty getting beyond the idea stage, I must confess. And I would only ever go into as as a small extra element, yes. I'd certainly never give up the writing. As it turns out, however, I'm currently waiting to hear back from a university student who contacted me, asking for an interview for a major study he's doing on blogging (where he interviewed three people who represented different asepcts of blogging, and who ran three "successful" blogs). I agreed, and should receive the finished product, any minute now. I'm allowed to use the footage here, so I thought I'd put it up. So, you'll get a small taste of me "in the flesh", very shortly. And as for the section on Big Brother, here, includede in this website - the main reasonn why I don't like this idea is because, as you said, the sites are very different. The Eye is slightly different to the Aaron Darc you all know, here. And, most importantly, it's aimed at a very different market - the Eye is for a bigger market, quite deliberately. I don't think I'd want to poison this site with people who would come looking for The Eye! It suits me to have them separate, if I can swing it that way. But we'll see. Thanks, Aaron
