Like your site! But I just wanted to clarify your poll about the Big Brother website you did last year. I chose "No, I wasn't there nor would want to be" and I just wanted to say that I chose it not as an indication of what I think of this site! I actually heard about you during that site, I read an article of yours in The Sydney Morning Herald about the show that I thought showed a common sense missing from the media sensationalism around that show. But I don't actually watch the show for that reason, or would want to (I think it's the most appauling show there is). So though I did go to the Eye On Big Brother site (they mentioned it at the bottom of your article) I wasn't really interested in following the show to such a huge extent! I was really looking forward to reading your ideas on other things than Big Brother, and in the bit I skim read of the site, saw that you were doing a new site (this one). So I came back after Big Brother had finished and have thoroughly enjoyed this site. I know you have mentioned that you will close this down when Big Brother is on, and I just have to be honest, I think that's a great shame. I know that from the poll that I am clearly in a minority (though many more people come here than vote on your polls), but I really am hoping this show gets the axe so that I don't lose this site for four months! It's too long, I think you will jeopardise this site in doing so and this is clearly where your heart is. Stuff Big Brother! So I just felt that maybe that particular response on your poll sounds a bit like I'm just not a fan of yours, and that's not at all the case, I just think there are plenty of us who were not there for that site and who don't want to have to sit through that show just to keep in touch with you. You've got a huge fan base now, and we extend far beyond your views on mainstream TV! Anyway, it's been playing on my mind when I come here lately and just wanted to have a ramble! But I really do think you're a talented guy, I have throughly enjoyed watching your success grow, you really deserve it.

That's fine, I'm all for people rambling how they feel! And this is definitely an issue I have to consider carefully, which is why I put that poll up, to put it out there amongst my audience. And that's exactly what that option on the poll was referring to, it was to gage how many people are fans of this site but have no interest in following the Big Brother show (I imagine there's many, and yes, many more than have clicked that poll). But then, on the other hand, that site does allow me to reach an audience I wouldn't be able to otherwise, and this site wouldn't exist without it - as that poll also shows, I did retain a large part of that audience with this site (as well as lose a huge portion, of course, a lot of the people from the BB site would in no way be able to connect to a lot of the content here). So I do thank you for your thoughts on the matter, because I am currently deciding what to do and what is the best option. And it extends just beyond the running of this site, to be honest, I've a few options opening up aside from this site, and though I can't really go into it, I've got some decisions to make over the coming weeks. But I will exist online somehow, and if there is another Eye On Big Brother than I totally respect you not wanting to follow the show, and I do hope you come back to this one, once it's done. But I have to be honest, everything is currently up in the air, and I am yet to come to conclusions. But once things are set in stone, you'll all be the first to know.
