I think a lot of people can, most of the guys in my IPT class do it all the time. Those who insult Big Brother without actually watching it, are silly people.. however, you are needed to further the controversy.
Those who say it's boring.. you're shallow and can't see beyond the surface.
Those who can see the manipulation, well done, and those who love it regardless, I love you.

I would say that most Cyber bullies don't have a clue as to the trail of identification they leave on systems when they bully. Most of the time you can trace back an offensive email to the computer it was sent from. I would think that if enough evidence was given, an ISP will provide information about an attacker to the appropriate authorities(who ever they might be?).

P.S. I believe bullies in which ever form they take, are one of the lowest dregs of scum on this earth...(and yes i was bullied in highschool)

Unfortunately, the authorities only care in retrospect, if something concrete happens (which is kinda too late, really). They do not take bullying seriously if it is online, I actually had a case during the first EOBB site - I didn't mind the bullying, as such, but this was going to an extreme and I started to worry for my safety (as threats were made, etc). I did find out what could be done, etc, and it turned out very little, because I had no real reason to believe that this individual really knew who I was and where I lived (as they said they did in their emails). Of course, if my throat had have been slashed, I'm sure they would have done something! But because I was okay, there was the definite impression that authorities did not take cyberworld to be "real".

Hmmmm I wonder if we relabeled it to "Cyber TERRORISM!!!" if we'd get different results...
