I've lost my dancing-reality-TV virginity to this show, having actively avoided watching the C-grade celeb versions, and missing the US version.
But yeah, I'm like a big chunk of Australia, lovin' it. It's like Idol, but with better music, less filler, and way more entertaining. Its a bit of a relief too that petty accusations of fatness are by definition not on the agenda!
Bit disappointed though that the judging panel is reminiscent of Idol - woman in the middle with more supportive platitudes than constructive criticism.
It'll be interesting to see if the voting patterns are like Idol, where the threateningly good looking girls are first to go. On the upside, there arent really any talentless Dean Geyer-style hunks to worry about.
Luckily tonight it doesnt go for 2 hours, too, so you can flip over to the ABC at 8.30 for the guilty but enormous pleasure of witnessing the ex-Ministers sink the boot into their former leader in the Four Corners episode "Howard's End" (hmmm, where have I heard that before?)

I too like the show - at the moment. Thank you for mentioning Delta. I was trying to figure out last night who Nat was trying to morph in too, now I know.
