I don't think so. - 2008/04/21 20:33
A preview of a BB08 housemate was shown during the SYTYCD advert breaks.
I was actually a little thrilled when I first heard the ad (rather than seeing it). The audio has Terri, a 50+ grandmother saying she is a Pauline Hanson fan and “I think that some of the people we have let come here have brought their problems with them”... the BB music tag line pipes in with “I don’t think so!” to which I cheered. Later watching the show I realised the tag line was in response to some written comments on the screen.

So, what say you? Happy to have political stirrings from the housemates? Even if you don’t agree with the racist views? I’m sure the whole point of putting this woman in is to have an apposing lefty.
I always just worry that the show paints the people as such 2dimensional characters.

Of course this is painted as entirely "controversial" and its exactly what they're aiming for. At least she's over 50. Thats a start.

Rumours were abound today that Corey Worthington (young guy who threw a party and they trashed his house and neighbourhood) is going into the house. Talk about extremes! Ughh!

We'll wait and see. I can't wait for Aaron to start dissecting this years offerings.

Cory was 16 when the drama went down right? What is the age requirement for BB? I would have assumed 18, which would make Cory too young *crosses fingers*

Why can't we just let Corey rest in peace?

I don't know about this series. I've seen the ads, but it worries me to think what they'll do with a Puline Hanson supporter. Do we really need to dig this up too? Let her rest in peace with Corey!
