I often get an error message for a few seconds after I post, then that dissapears and my post goes through. I've always assumed it's a glitch, but it's probably the reason we see a lot of double posts.
As for a time-out, I spent quite a bit of time composing a long rant about the con test, and was able to post it without any problems--although reading back over it, perhaps it should have been invalid ...
