LETTERS - 2006/11/15 16:44
Hi,
Just wanted to drop a line for anyone who read a letter I responded to, earlier today, from the person wanting to read the forums as visible threads (as a non-member). I've had some letters I havent had time to go through in the last few weeks, and am addressing them now, and it turns out, I'm a little out of the loop with that one, and my partner has already granted that wish, and non-users can view the forums as normal. So never mind what I was saying! I've now deleted the letter. I did originally set them up that way, but they've changed, and we'll leave them changed.
Also, to the other few people who wrote non-publishable letters, I am going to go through them and respond in the next couple of days, I promise! We've been terribly busy boys lately, so I havn't been able to respond to everyone on time. But I do promise that all letters are eventually responded to, here. If it's been a ridiculous amount of time though, then by all means drop me another line, I do ocassionally just miss some (I made the mistake of giving my email to another forum I joined, and now I'm being bombarded with spam - which as anyone who has joined ours will confirm, does not happen if you join our site as a registered user).
I know that I respond to some that I receive later than others, first. But I do this because I prioritise any letter that is relevant to an immediate context of the site, and any letter that doesn't take too much time to respond. I leave the lengthier letters (that require lengthier responses) til I have more time, and do so out of respect, because it's not fair if I just roll off something in a few minutes just to get it answered. So there's a few coming in the next day or so, forgive the time delay, but I do appreciate them, and as long as I'm not being outright attacked, I respond to everything (thankfully, the attacks are part of the BB site and not this one! Touch wood!).
