Yes, I saw this. And what a perfect illustration of the importance of the Scandal to the interest of these shows, that this one would use it's own trash current affairs show of the same network (of the calibre of TT) to generate it's own sense of "drama" (which I noticed was the word they were using on overkill) as a cross-promotion. Ironic, really, because when Idol and BB are on, TT uses this sort of reporting to try and hurt the competitor, but now they've re-moulded the approach, recognising that it actually HELPS a show (if the short-term ratings spike of the scandal is the way you play it), rather than hinders it.
